2009 PRS Howard Leese Private Stock Golden Eagle in Vintage Yellow #43/100

Here is a 2009 PRS Howard Leese Limited Private Stock #43 of 100 in Vintage Yellow that’s identical to the instrument that Paul Reed Smith built for Howard in the early 1980s, down to the filled in drawer hole in the top. It was the first PRS to have a Maple top and that wood was used from dresser drawer gifted to Paul. Features include; thicker South American Mahogany body, East Coast Curly Maple top, South American Mahogany neck, bound Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with modified bird inlays, Wide Fat neck profile with a modified heel, pre-factory Santana headstock shape with Ebony veneer and Private Stock Eagle headstock inlay, Howard Leese pickups with zebra bobbins, Green Ripple Abalone strips inlaid running parallel between the pickups, custom electronics and tremolo cavities, unplated PRS tremolo, PRS locking tuners, cream pickup rings, Amber top hat style control knobs and a high gloss Nitro finish. Excellent condition. There’s a tiny blem right at the edge of the backplate cavity. Comes with flight case, and all case candy. Signed on the back of the headstock by Paul Reed Smith and Joe Knaggs.
