Here is the latest Dismal Ax Sparrowhawk #1603. The body is composed of a salvaged Poplar center block with Butternut wings, capped with salvaged Yellow Pine. The neck is Black Cherry with an Orange Osage fretboard and black position markers. Other features include a 25″ scale, 22 wide/high frets, Hipshot Classic tuners, tune-o-matic bridge, custom Brass and Aluminum pickguards and Dismal homespun mini humbuckers with 4500 turns per coil on the bridge and 4200 turns per coil on the neck. Very balance and weighs only 6.8lbs.
