James Trussart SteelResoGator Electric

Introduced at the 2012 NAMM Show is the James Trussart SteelResoGator. Availble in acoustic or electric versions, this one has the piezo and magnetic pickups for a wonderful blend of swampy tones.

The magnetic pickup has a great clarity and definition, and when plugged into an acoustic amp, sounds remarkably natural with tons of output, but can also be overdriven for loud heavy delta blues sounds.

The Fishman pickup installed at the cone provides a richer, warmer, acoustic sound. It comes with a stereo cable. It doesn’t take long to realize the enormous amount of versatility this combination is capable of.

With separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, you can run 2 completely discreet amplifiers at the same time. One amp could set one up for distortion or used with guitar effects boxes, one for clean tones. With this configuration you can switch back and forth, or blend them to create entirely new sounds with endless possibilities!

As on all the different James Trussart custom guitars, the recessed metal headcap provides a noticeable sustaining power, with bell clear and smooth harmonics vibrant volume.
