Underdog

The Underdog is a short scale, single cut, set neck construction instrument which has two sides to its story. While normally the front of the Underdog is based on a carved flame maple Private Stock look, this one was ordered in an all relic’d Mahogany with a Sound Vented top. Other features include an Ebony fingerboard and headstock overlay and Arcane ’59 USA humbuckers.

Throughout two decades of building custom instruments we became convinced that such a combination of nitro finished tops and oiled backs, creates a more responsive instrument with quite amazing sound qualities. The Underdog also sports a proprietary set of fine tuned Arcane USA pickups, “Endless Fret” slotting design and the instrument can be ordered with the optional chambering system, featuring our unique “Sound Vents” design. The rear inlayed stainless steel sound plates, sphere knobs and the rest of the Underdog’s custom personality is a token of our passion towards delivering an experience of a life time.
