Underdog

The 2013 Underdog is a short scale, single cut, setneck construction instrument which has two sides to its story. The front of the Underdog is based on a carved flame maple Private Stock look, while the back of the instrument features ergonomically carved and custom distressed hand picked Mahogany.

Throughout two decades of building custom instruments, we became convinced that such a combination of nitro finished tops and oiled backs creates a more responsive instrument with quite amazing sound qualities. This Underdog features a proprietary set of fine tuned Arcane USA pickups, ‘Endless Fret’ slotting design, an optional chambering system featuring our unique ‘Sound Vents’ design, and rear inlayed stainless steel sound plates. The Underdog’s custom personality is a token of our passion towards delivering an experience of a lifetime.
